Mentor Live, Powered by Neccton
Multi ProductFirst PartyAvailability: Standalone and BundledNeccton is an acquired OpenBet brand and player-protection product line. OpenBet's current brochure markets Mentor Live as a modular product that can sit alongside the wider OpenBet stack rather than as an independent company with a separate parent.
The product covers several distinct workflow layers: automated player profiling for responsible-gambling and adjacent AML risk, personalized player messages or an optional widget, due-diligence and ticketing tools, player analysis, and regulatory reporting. These functions should not be collapsed into one generic risk score.
A 2015 published study observed lower gambling activity after personalized feedback in one operator population, but it was a nonrandom matched-control study, includes a Neccton co-founder as an author, and predates the current product. It is retained only as scoped historical evidence, not as proof of current intervention effectiveness.
Integration: Mentor Live requires operator player and activity data, configured risk and communication rules, and a connection to the operator's review and reporting process. Public sources do not disclose one universal data transport, controller allocation, model-decision boundary, customer contract, supported-jurisdiction schedule, implementation time, or price.
- + Current OpenBet materials distinguish behavioral profiling, communication, due-diligence workflow, and reporting functions.
- + The product is shown as a current player-protection module in OpenBet's 2026 corporate materials after the 2023 acquisition.
- ! Neccton is part of OpenBet; supplier, contracting entity, and packaging must be confirmed through OpenBet rather than inferred from the historic standalone company.
- ! Responsible-gambling profiling, AML signals, and fraud indicators are adjacent but not interchangeable compliance decisions.
- ! The 2015 feedback study is population-specific, nonrandom, author-conflicted, and too old to validate the current model or a new operator deployment.
- ! Controller roles, model thresholds, human-review duties, jurisdiction fit, and commercial terms are not public.
