Gamban Device-Blocking Software
Multi ProductFirst PartyAvailability: Standalone and BundledGamban develops device-installed software that blocks access to gambling websites and applications. Consumers can obtain the software directly, while operators, banks, regulators, treatment services, and other partners can fund or distribute access through partner programs.
Device blocking is distinct from self-exclusion. Gamban changes access from covered devices; it does not close a gambling account, add a person to an operator or regulator exclusion list, block payment transactions, evaluate affordability, monitor operator gameplay, or run a compliance case.
An independent 2018 category study found that blocking software could cover many major sites but that no product blocked everything. Because the public report anonymizes products and predates the current Gamban version, it is used only to describe the category limitation, not current Gamban effectiveness.
Integration: A user installs Gamban on each supported device. A business partner can purchase or distribute access and signpost users to installation, but the reviewed public sources do not establish a universal operator API or account-level enforcement link. Device support, partner data roles, market terms, pricing, and distribution conditions must be confirmed for the deployment.
