CompetitionLabs' March 2026 Terms and Privacy Policy name Gamification Consultancy Ltd, registered in Malta, as the current supplier and website controller, but neither document provides a Maltese registration number. UK Companies House separately records active GAMIFICATION CONSULTANCY LIMITED, company 13764897, which was historically controlled by ZIQNI LTD and cannot be assumed to be the same legal person as the Maltese contractor. The current brand-to-supplier mapping is vendor-confirmed; the exact registry and group-ownership boundary requires a Malta Business Registry extract and the proposed Order Form.

These modules are our normalized view of the provider's current products and services. A vendor source confirms what the company publishes; it does not independently prove performance, availability in every market, or contract terms. Claim status and unresolved responsibilities stay visible below.

CompetitionLabs Gamification Platform

Multi ProductFirst PartyAvailability: Standalone and Bundled

CompetitionLabs sells a hosted, event-driven gamification platform directly to operators, studios, aggregators, and platform providers. Its current product set covers tournaments and leaderboards, missions, achievements, loyalty and VIP journeys, segmentation, reward workflows, automation, reporting, and white-label player interfaces.

The platform connects to an operator's existing player, game, CRM, reward, and marketing systems rather than replacing the PAM, wallet, cashier, or gambling operator. The current terms put gambling approvals and lawful use on the client and describe the client as controller and CompetitionLabs as processor when the platform processes personal data on the client's behalf.

Products in this module
Tournaments, missions, and achievements: Configurable competitions, leaderboards, scoring, rounds, missions, achievements, schedules, audiences, progression, and claim mechanics.
Loyalty, segmentation, and reward workflows: Loyalty and VIP journeys, dynamic segments, reward definitions, trigger logic, automation consumers, and downstream reward or communication events, subject to tier and integration.
White-label UX and integration layer: REST APIs plus tier-dependent webhooks, transformations, consumers, dashboards, exports, widgets, CSS theming, iframe or Web Component embedding, custom domains, and bespoke UI. Current public pages conflict on basic webhook availability.

Integration: Current packaging uses an event-based REST API on every tier, but the current pricing matrix and FAQ conflict on whether basic webhook output is available on Starter. Transformations, consumers, CRM integrations, managed onboarding, custom mapping, custom API work, dedicated deployment, data residency, and player-facing components also vary by tier. Interfaces can use an iframe or Web Component and operator theming where contracted. Sandbox or staging credentials are normally provisioned after a contract or qualifying pilot is signed. The Order Form must resolve the public-document conflicts and name the exact events, limits, features, environments, UI components, overage behavior, support, and service level.

Checked facts
Current Supplier

Current public legal pages name Gamification Consultancy Ltd, registered in Malta, as the supplier trading as CompetitionLabs

Current public CompetitionLabs legal pages · The pages do not provide a Maltese registration number. Do not substitute UK company 13764897 without a Malta registry extract or Order Form that establishes the relationship.

Vendor Reported2026-07-13
Regulatory Boundary

CompetitionLabs says it is not a gaming operator and does not hold a gaming license; the client remains responsible for licenses, regulated-market approval, responsible gambling, advertising, and lawful platform use

Current public Terms, section 6

Vendor Reported2026-07-13
Platform Data Roles

For personal data processed through the platform on a client's behalf, CompetitionLabs describes itself as processor and the client as controller, with the DPA available on request

Default public data-role statement · The signed DPA must identify the exact entity, data categories, subprocessors, locations, transfers, security controls, retention, deletion, and assistance duties.

Vendor Reported2026-07-13
Delivery Packaging

CompetitionLabs currently sells direct tiered SaaS and is also described by StakeSoft as an embedded gamification engine in a platform bundle

Current direct and bundled delivery routes · StakeSoft's group-owned wording is not treated as legal ownership evidence.

Vendor Reported2026-07-13
Public List Pricing

Starter EUR 1,000 per month, Growth EUR 5,000 per month, Scale EUR 12,000 per month, and Enterprise custom; prices are per Sub-Space on monthly billing, with 20 percent advertised savings on annual billing

Public list pricing before taxes, add-ons, overages, negotiated terms, and contract changes · The signed Order Form controls the actual price, capacity, feature access, term, onboarding, infrastructure, and service level.

Vendor Reported2026-07-13 · valid through 2026-08-12
Public Tier Boundary

The public matrix limits Starter to tournaments; missions, loyalty, and reward-fulfillment functions begin at Growth, while dedicated infrastructure, custom data residency, and a custom service level are Enterprise features

Public tier matrix; exact features, definitions, and capacity remain subject to the signed Order Form · Do not infer access to a mechanic from the product-wide feature page when it is excluded from the contracted tier.

Vendor Reported2026-07-13 · valid through 2026-08-12
Public Service Level

Current public pages conflict on service-level packaging: the matrix places 24/7 SLA-backed support and a custom SLA on Enterprise, the pricing FAQ says contractual uptime or response commitments require Scale or Enterprise, and the general FAQ says Scale and Enterprise receive 24/7 coverage and formal SLA agreements

Unresolved public packaging conflict; the 99.5 percent scheduled-uptime baseline is a vendor statement, not an independently measured result · The Order Form must state the applicable tier, uptime definition, exclusions, maintenance rules, measurement point, support coverage, response targets, recovery objectives, reporting, remedies, and service credits.

Unresolved2026-07-13 · valid through 2026-08-12
Webhook Tier Boundary

The pricing matrix marks Webhooks and Transformers unavailable on Starter, while the current general FAQ says basic webhook output is available on all tiers

Unresolved public documentation conflict affecting integration scope · Require the Order Form and technical schedule to identify webhook events, payloads, authentication, retries, quotas, environments, transformations, consumers, and support for the selected tier.

Unresolved2026-07-13 · valid through 2026-08-12
Overage Behavior

The pricing FAQ says excess event and API use is not throttled or hard-cut off and is billed as added headroom, while Terms section 5.5 says CompetitionLabs may throttle performance or invoice overage charges

Unresolved commercial and availability boundary for use above contracted limits · The Order Form must define the measured units, aggregation period, alerts, grace, headroom, throttling, hard limits, overage rates, dispute records, and emergency capacity process.

  • + Tier-dependent tournaments, missions, achievements, loyalty journeys, segmentation, and reward workflows
  • + White-label widgets, CSS theming, and iframe or Web Component embedding
  • + Tier-dependent webhooks, transformations, consumers, CRM connectors, data exports, audit logs, and onboarding support

Not included

  • ! Operator gambling license, regulated-market approval, or responsibility for lawful operation
  • ! PAM, player wallet, cashier, payment processing, deposit custody, or merchant-of-record services
  • ! Reward funding, bonus liability, wallet posting, expiry, reversal, tax treatment, or accounting unless the exact connected execution route is documented
  • ! Automatic proof that consent, self-exclusion, cooling-off, vulnerability, age, market, or communication-suppression rules are enforced correctly
  • ! A public operator DPA, complete subprocessor schedule, universal hosting location, independently verified security certificate, or fixed service level for every tier
  • ! A separately defined managed campaign-operations service unless it appears in the Order Form or statement of work
Best for: Operators, studios, aggregators, and B2B platforms that want a separate event-driven engagement layer without replacing the PAM, wallet, or existing CRM and can map events and test reward, suppression, player-protection, and reconciliation boundaries.
Strengths
  • + The current site exposes a detailed tier and feature matrix instead of describing the product only in broad marketing language.
  • + Public API material exposes real competition, achievement, member, claim, event, and webhook concepts.
  • + The current Terms separate the gamification supplier from the licensed operator and allocate baseline client-data ownership and controller and processor roles.
What to verify in procurement
  • ! The Malta-registered contracting entity is named but not registry-numbered. Do not merge it with ZIQNI LTD or UK company 13764897, and do not infer a parent organization from another vendor's group-owned wording.
  • ! Reward marketing is broader than public technical evidence. The public material does not establish who funds cash or free spins, checks bonus eligibility, posts the wallet transaction, handles wagering terms, or reverses and reconciles the benefit.
  • ! The FAQ says player attributes, opt-ins, and suppression flags can be sent into the platform, but this does not prove deterministic self-exclusion, cooling-off, age, market, vulnerability, or consent enforcement. Test suppression immediately before every visible mechanic, message, and reward action.
  • ! Public termination descriptions require contract resolution: the Terms describe a 30-day return-or-delete election, while the FAQ describes 90-day post-cancellation retention. Contract duration and cancellation wording also vary by tier and document.
  • ! Current pricing, Terms, and FAQ pages conflict on webhook availability, formal service-level coverage, and whether excess event or API use may be throttled. Treat the exact integration, support, capacity, overage, and remedy rules as unresolved until they are written into the Order Form and technical schedule.
  • ! The site uses ISO 27001 Certified wording, while other public wording is less specific. Request the certificate, certified entity, scope, standard edition, auditor, issue date, and expiry before treating certification as verified.
  • ! Do not use customer counts, event-volume totals, uplift figures, benchmark ranges, testimonials, or broad throughput and latency claims as expected performance. Validate contracted event rates, API limits, end-to-end latency, concurrency, outage behavior, recovery, and service levels with a load test.
  • ! Public developer and legacy Academy pages contain older material. Use the current canonical pages, signed technical pack, contracted API version, and sandbox behavior; re-confirm older broker, on-premises, and self-managed deployment references.
  • ! Sandbox access is normally post-signature, and support, dedicated infrastructure, service levels, custom mapping, automation, and UI depth vary materially by tier. The Order Form must enumerate every required feature.

No Maltese registration number is disclosed.
  • CompetitionLabsVendorchecked 2026-07-13Privacy Policy effective March 17, 2026 names Gamification Consultancy Ltd and its Swieqi address and separates website-controller and platform-processor roles. It is not the operator DPA and gives no company registration number.
