Fan Arena Fantasy Platform

Fantasy SportsFirst PartyAvailability: Standalone

Fan Arena licenses and operates its own hosted fantasy platform for leagues, media companies, and betting brands. The current product supports daily and season-long duration, draft, budget, and auction allocation, total-points or head-to-head scoring, and configurable transfers, substitutions, waivers, and boosters.

Delivery is a managed, branded web product rather than source-code ownership. Fan Arena hosts the service, configures the game and design, integrates sports data and identity, and can add payment connections and end-user support. The client owns the game name, branding, and marketing while paying to use Fan Arena's code.

Sports data is a separate procurement boundary. Fan Arena usually integrates the client's API, may source a feed for larger sports, or can use manual administration for niche competitions. Payment processing is optional and depends on a PSP that accepts the proposed fantasy model.

Fan Arena says the client owns and can export user and fantasy data, but the public FAQ does not establish controller, processor, retention, subprocessor, or international-transfer roles. Those roles still need a DPA and data-flow schedule.

Products in this module
Daily and season-long fantasy: Configurable fantasy formats spanning draft or budget allocation, total-points or head-to-head scoring, and competition-specific roster rules.
Hosted branded web game: Responsive browser delivery on a client-facing domain, with WebView integration into an existing mobile app and optional SSO.
Admin and reporting tools: Game administration, prize and promotion tools, business-intelligence access, and JSON, CSV, or XLSX data exports.
Data and payment connections: Client or third-party sports feeds, manual fallback for niche sports, and optional PSP integration when the provider accepts the contest model.

Integration: The order should name SneakersGames NV, the game format and rules, client domain and branding, web or WebView route, SSO and account identifiers, sports-data provider and correction process, prize and payment flow, merchant of record, player terms, licenses, controller and processor roles, hosting region, support hours and severity targets, reporting, code and configuration ownership, complete data-export schema, transition help, and deletion evidence. A client should not infer gambling approval from a successful free-to-play or media deployment.

Best for: Leagues, media groups, and betting brands that want a customized daily or season-long fantasy product with hosting and operations included, especially where the buyer already controls audience, rights, and a sports-data route.
Strengths
  • + The current FAQ exposes format, data, identity, payment, hosting, support, IP, and export boundaries in unusual detail.
  • + Named deployments cover both long-running paid media fantasy and an official league game.
  • + The platform can use an existing client SSO while keeping direct identity data out of Fan Arena's account layer.
What to verify in procurement
  • ! Client ownership of data is not the same as a complete GDPR role allocation; require controller, processor, purpose, retention, and subprocessor terms.
  • ! A sports feed may be client-procured, supplier-procured, or manually maintained. Put rights, correction, settlement, and outage rules in the contract.
  • ! Paid entry and prizes require separate local legal, payment, tax, and player-protection review; Fan Arena does not publish one transferable operating license.
  • ! The client licenses platform code rather than acquiring it, so data export, configuration handover, transition service, and post-termination access are material exit terms.
